Groundhog Day (1993)
Director: Harold Ramis
Number of viewings: ~1
Comments: I don't know why I expected this film to be two hours long. The runtime just flew by. Bill Murray is always great. Chris Elliott has perfect comic timing when delivering lines that a second rate actor would either just try and make funny or rattle off without aplomb.
White Bird in a Blizzard (2014)
Director: Gregg Araki
Number of viewings: 1
Comments: Eva Green's performance was great. Wonderfully shot expressionistic imagery. Shailene Woodley's performance was good also, don't understand why everyone is pushing for her to be the new Jennifer Lawrence though. Does Kat's character need to talk in such a metaphor-laden way? Who talks like that?
The Girl Who Knew Too Much (1963)
Director: Mario Bava
Number of viewings: 1
Comments: First of the giallo's. Paranoia brought on by marijuana cigarette and lurid paperback novels or true crime? Great use of Hitchcockian suspense. More Bava please!
Blood and Black Lace (1964)
Director: Mario Bava
Number of viewings: 1
Comments: Gruesome. Erotic grotesque murder sequences. Great atmospheric color photography. Not much story.
